Introduction

The CAPV - ACVA will fulfill the following mandates:

​​

  • Serve as representation for Canadian poultry vets to the CVMA, WVPA, the Canadian Poultry Industry and National Regulators (CFIA, HC-VDD)

  • Serve as an authoritative voice on issues that affect poultry health, welfare, production and food safety in Canada

  • Act as the basis for the cgFARAD listing of withdrawal times for off-label drug use via CAPV website

  • Serve as a virtual meeting place for the exchange of ideas
